Natural cures for Fibroids and Painful Menstrual Cycle

CREDITS TO

I work with extraordinary women who are struggling and sometimes even suffering from hormonal and reproductive health symptoms.

In my work, I use herbal formulas, flower essence formulas, trauma work, shamanic practices, feminine embodiment practices, and shamanic journeys. This work is deeply rooted in the ways of wisdom.

Within this medicine bundle, there is a powerful practice that I recommend to my clients. ... Castor Oil packs.

Castor oil comes from the castor seed. Centuries ago, the plant was referred to as "Palma Christe" because the leaves were said to resemble the hand of Christ. This association likely arose out of people's reverence for the plant's healing abilities.

When used topically, castor oil has a drawing power that clears the body of excess tissues and toxins. Casor oil packs stimulate the lymphatic and circulatory system. The lymphatic system removes toxins and waste from the area stimulated by the castor oil pack. The promotion of circulation by the castor oil pack will also bring in fresh oxygenated, nutrient rich blood to the reproductive organs, including the uterus. Due to these effects, it can be used to decrease pain, and help in the treatment of many conditions including uterine fibroids, non-malignant ovarian cysts, fibrocystic breast tissue, uterine function, headaches, migraines, constipation, intestinal disorders, and gallbladder and liver conditions.

If you're ready to start feeling some of its benefits, follow these simple steps.

To make a castor oil pack, you will need the following supplies:
1. High quality cold-pressed castor oil. I use from a company called Premier research Labs. Please use a reputable and high quality company.
2. A hot water bottle or heating pad
3. Plastic wrap, sheet of plastic, or plastic garbage bag
4. Two or three one-foot square pieces of wool or cotton flannel, or one piece large enough to cover the entire treatment area when folded in thirds
5. One large old bath towel

So here is what you do:
1. Lie down.
2. Drizzle 2-3 TBSP of castor oil onto one face of the cloth.
3. Place the oily side down on your stomach. Use your hot water bottle. The heat allows the oil to penetrate the skin and work its way deep into the tissues. Lie still for 30-45 minutes. You can incorporate this into your evening routine. If you regularly check email every night, do your castor oil pack while you sit at your computer. Or do it while you read or talk to your spouse or watch a movie.
4. After the allotted time, place your pack into a plastic bag and set it aside until tomorrow. You can reuse the cloth numerous times. Store in a large zip lock or glass container.
5. For maximum effectiveness, apply at least four consecutive days per week for one month. Patients who use the pack daily report the most benefits.

Castor oil incredibly cleansing but it seems to be able to heal the body in various ways

Some of the older generation were often forced to take a tablespoon by their mothers in an attempt to keep them healthy and by all accounts still remember the ghastly incidents to this day. Not only is castor oil incredibly cleansing but it seems to be able to heal the body in various ways, whether it be a cellular disfunction or an external skin condition.
Someone recommended I read  The Oil That Heals by William A McGarey who talks of a guy called Edgar Cayce who could lie down on a couch and enter an altered state of consciousness and be able to tell what was going on in someone else’s body who happened to be 2000 miles away. Cayce died in 1945 but there have been many books written on the accuracy of his 14,306 ‘readings’ related to other’s health or lack thereof. It was reported that he that first suggested using a castor oil pack for a lady suffering with cancer of the upper bowel. The book is interesting and packed full of stories where castor oil has healed many illnesses from skin conditions to hearing problems to hernias.
Here’s a partial list in Cayce’s unique language of how castor oil affects the body:
  • Increases eliminations
  • Stimulates the liver
  • Dissolves and removes adhesions
  • Dissolves and removes lesions
  • Relieves pain
  • Releases colon impaction
  • Reduces nervous system
  • Stimulates the gall bladder
  • Incoordinations reducing toxemia
  • Reduces flatulence
  • Increases lymphatic circulation
  • Improves intestinal assimilation
  • Balances eliminations
  • Reduces inflammation
  • Increases relaxation
  • Dissolves lacteal duct circulation
  • Reduces swelling
  • Stimulates the caecum (yup, had to google that!)
  • Reduces nausea
  • Coordinates liver function
  • Stimulates organs and glands
Phew! And that is just a partial list! Bottom line – castor oil rocks and for some unknown reason is able to being the body back into balance.  Here’s a list of the conditions it can help improve:
  • Cancer
  • Colitis
  • Gallstones
  • Hepatitis
  • Hookworm
  • Lymphitis
  • Parkinsons
  • Ringworm
  • MS
  • Hodgkin’s Disease
  • Epilepsy
  • Arthritis*
  • Cerebal palsy
  • Constipation
  • Hernia
  • Appendicitis
* I have applied one castor oil pack to my mum’s ankle which keeps giving way and she has already experienced less pain and swelling.
How To Take It
Castor oil can be taken by mouth, in an enema or as a pack.
By Mouth
Take 1-2 tablespoons as needed.
Enema
You’ll need an enema kit which is available to buy online. First, run boiling water down the enema tube to soften it. Then, ensuring the tap at the end of the tube is closed, pour 4 tablespoons of oil into the bucket letting it fill up the tube. Then add coffee as per theinstructions here. Insert the tube as per a usual enema only with this type, you don’t need to hold the solution in for 15 minutes. As soon as all of the solution is in, sit on the toilet and release. The castor oil helps to rid the intestinal tract of any toxic residue that a normal enema cannot get access to.
Castor oil pack
What you’ll need;
Fold the cloth 2-3 times over creating a rectangular or square pad measuring approx 10 by 12 inches (for abdominal application.) Pour some castor oil over the flannel and apply to the area of the body that is needed. (I place mine in a glass oven dish and warm it gently before applying as it’s best not to put on directly cold.) Place the plastic over the flannel cloth, place the heating pad on top, followed by the towel (you can put the towel on top and then the heating pad if it’s too hot for you) and leave for at least an hour to one hour and a half. Once done, rub the castor oil into your body for a luxurious moisturising treatment!

Castor oil to relieve muscle aches and prevent bruises after minor injuries

Q. Have you ever heard of using castor oil for bruises? My mother-in-law swears by this remedy. Whenever one of my kids bumps a knee, she rubs castor oil on it and there is never a bruise.

A. Arnica and calendula are herbs that have long been used to relieve muscle aches and prevent bruises after minor injuries. Castor oil is used internally as a laxative, but many tell us it works externally for warts. Now we will add bruises to the list.
Others have the following castor oil stories to share.

Brenda says: "We can testify castor oil works great for soreness as well keeping bruises down to a minimum."

++++++++++++++++++++++++ S. H. offers this: "Castor Oil is great for MORE than helping lessen scars and easing bruises. "It will just about knock out knee pain and help delay knee surgery for many people.

My husband's knee really hurts at times; he has seen his doctor and was prescribed pain pills. "Since I heard about castor oil being rubbed onto knees and other joints to reduce inflammation and pain, I decided to tell my husband.

It reduced inflammation, and stopped the pain (by morning #3 (third), ONLY applying at night). We have told many other people; some were facing knee replacement surgery; castor oil is successfully delaying that time and surgery.

"When I have sore muscles or feel a tinge of what might turn into soreness from fibromyalgia I have my husband gently rub some into my sore areas. We know that it is really good stuff.

CASTOR OIL REVIEW

Product Review:

Saw on Dr Oz that castor softens the appearance of Elevens, those vertical wrinkles between the eyebrows.
Mine were becoming One Hundred and Elevens.

Applied the castor oil, neat, on freshly washed face, at night. Works! The eyebrow lines, and the horizontal lines on my forehead are softer, shallower, appearing.

It is very thick and sticky, but it does just take a tiny amount so it's very economical. I also mix it with other essential oils for the extra hydration. Very pleased.

Product Review:

This product is amazing when used with Jojoba oil.
Put a 10c sized amount of each into the palm of your hand and rub onto your face roughly for a minute or so.

Look at your hands after doing so and see all of your blackheads on your fingers. This keeps my skin blemish-free and hydrated

Product Review:

This works wonders on eyelashes and brows, mine have grown a few millimeters at least already (a week or so) and I'm amazed!

Product Review:

My husband is using this on a bump (wart) on his hand.
The bump has flattened out and is almost gone - took about 2 weeks.

This brand, that I have bought before, is consistently a good quality that I use in home made cosmetics.

Castor Oil Packing Benefits

Castor Oil Packing Benefits

castor oil pack is an external application of castor oil placed onto the skin to enhance circulation and to promote the healing of the tissues and organs underneath the skin. It can be used to improve liver function, relieve pain, reduce inflammation and to improve digestion.

The History of Castor Oil Packing finds Edgar Cayce who was a "Medical Intuitive" as well as being a simple man with an astonishing gift! He would be able to go into deep hypnotic trances and prescribe medical treatments for people with all types of illnesses, some of them life-threatening.

The Edgar Cayce readings recommend castor oil packs to improve assimilations, eliminations and circulation (especially of the lymphatic system). Although this therapy may seem unusual, it is one of the best documented of the Cayce therapies and offers profound results! They are both soothing and healing as they magnify light straight into vital organs, it is like having an internal hug.

The function of the packs is to improve blood flow, which is why they are very successful when used to assist natural detox and weight loss programs. The most popular of the packs is where it is applied to the liver and or lower abdomen. This would be performed at least three times per week for sixty minutes each time to improve blood flow.

This regimen should be followed for at least three months and then can be tapered to once a week.
Packs should not be used if you are bleeding heavily, pregnancy or menstruating.

How to make a Castor Oil pack

Take the piece of organic cotton wool flannel and fold it into 3 thickness's. Put it in a pan (like a large disposable baking pan) and pour castor oil on it. Saturate the whole flannel, and leave it until it is well-saturated. When you use it, you want it saturated, but not dripping.

The size you want for use is about 12 x 18 inches (or the same as your hot water bottle or heating pad). After each use, you will probably need to add a little morecastor oil

You can use the pack many times (up to 30).
After using it, you can store it in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.

Where to Place the Castor Oil Pack

This will depend on what the problem is. In general, it should be on the right side of the body covering the abdomen area, extending from a little above the bottom of the sternum (breastbone) to about 4 inches below the navel. It should go from the navel around the body on the right side as far to the side as you can get it. Basically, cover as much of your right side as you can (so we target the liver).

Saying that, packs can be applied to any problem areas, i.e. the throat for a sore throat, groin etc... they can be particularly effective when applied directly to problem areas for cysts and growths. What is important is that packs are followed up with the relevant technique to make sure that the toxins moved by the pack are safely removed from the body via the correct routes - this is vital for healing to occur, an enema would be a recommended follow up technique for castor oil packing.

When and How to use a Castor Oil Pack

Use the pack in the evening, as you are resting before bed (it really helps you sleep). You can spread out a large plastic garbage bag on the bed (I never do but…), so that the castor oil won"t leak onto the bed. Fold a towel (that you will use only for castor oil packs, because the oil is almost impossible to wash out completely). Then put the heating pad on top of the towel.

Many readings say that it is important to heat the pack before you put it on yourself (I never do that either). One way is to heat it in the oven on a "low" temperature setting. Another way is to put the pack on top of the heating pad or hot water bottle. Let it warm up for a few minutes.

Lie down on your back on the plastic bag (or just stand up and chuck it on). Place the pack on your abdomen (making sure that you are covering the right side especially under the breast)… then wrap cling film (the non-pvc type) over the top of that (best to wrap it around yourself if you can) and then place a towel over the area… then the heating pad or hot water bottle on top of that – best to wear some old crappy clothes too or at least tee shirt… this way you can relax and chill watching TV if you like or just lie down and read in bed?

Always put an old towel on the sofa or bed though; you can lie on a plastic bag but it feels nasty I think… If you are using a heating pad have the control within easy reach of your hand, because you may need to adjust it so the pack is not too hot or too cold. It should be very warm, but not so hot it burns you. Be careful! If you"re not sure how hot is safe, start with a slightly warm session and work up to a warmer one. If it"s not warm enough, it may help to rest your arms and hands on the towel to press the pack onto your body.

Keep the pack on for 1 to 1 ½ hours. Have a paper towel handy to wipe the oil off you when you get up, and be careful not to get any on the bed or sofa. You can make up a solution of baking soda in warm water (2 teaspoons to a quart), and use paper towels or a sponge with the baking soda solution to clean off the castor oil. You might also want to take a shower with soap after that.

Use the pack for 3 days in a row. On the 4th day it"s GREAT and best to do acoffee enema in the morning to get rid of all that you have released from the packing. Then take a break for 4 days, and repeat. Do this for 3 weeks and then take the 4th week off.

When not to Castor oil pack!

Please note: Do not castor oil pack during menstruation, pregnancy or when bleeding.
